Brief Introduction of the Office
Defence Audit Directorate is one of the seventeen (17) audit directorates of the office of Comptroller and Auditor General of Bangladesh. This Audit Directorate is responsible for conducting audit of all offices under the ministry of Defence including all units and formations under Bangladesh Army, Navy, Air force, DGDP, Inter services departments, Offices under Controller General of Defence Finace and government commercial organizations run by Army, Navy and Air force. The mission of this audit directorate is to conduct effective audit of these offices for optimum utilization of public resources providing reliable and objective information to assist in establishing accountability transparency in activities of these organizations.
